    Starting November First!!

    I'm kinda relieved that almost everyone is going through the same things. so i've decied to just try lchf and so far it's been going great. i've been reading a lot on the subject and i'm finding it easy to follow, my workouts are great and i'm looking ok too! I'm thinking everything sugar related is food without breaks for me hahaha so I plan on staying away from it, and make a few exceptions keeping in mind what A LOT of sugar did to me. I do not plan on reintroducing dairy for real on my regular diet since the headache is almost immediate, and i dont miss cheese all that much!!! i'm actually really happy i did this and that I'm figuring out what all those food groups do to my body. I've been really interested in reading about paleo and stuff, I love how it all makes sense.

    hey, everyone! i'm also struggling with bingeing, @NatalieCatalie_ !!! I was doing ok, i reintroduced dairy and my body didn't like that much. Then, 3 days later, i reintroed sugar cause i was at a birthday party , so I ate some dessert and of course that triggered my sugar dragon. And boy was she pissed after 30 days of being ignored. I ate the whole world afterwards. Ice cream, cake, more ice cream. So of course i ended up reintroducing not just sugar, but also gluten and mineral oil. I hadn't eaten like that in a while. I had to take something for the nausea.... Monday morning i had the worst hangover ever - and i dont even drink!!!! So i think it was like a hangover hahaha. My head was heavy, my energy levels were looooow, i wanted to kill someone. It was like that throughout the day, i couldnt eat properly cause the nausea was still there, and nothing I took could seem to cure it. I drank planty of water and had a real meal at night.... and that was it. i was back on track yesterday, and i'm trying now to go paleo, low carb high fat. and obviously rethinking the role of sugar in my life.

    thanks! i'm just thinking i should eat egg whites and a starchy carb right after my workout and then eat a propper breakfast later. i dont know, it's confusing hahaha.

    hey guys, i have a post workout meal question and i thought i could reactivate this thread to ask it. soooo i've read on the book and on the whole9 website about the pwo meals and importance of having starchy carbs afterwards (besides protein of course). fruit is a no no BUT on the article i read by Steph Gaudreau she actually mentions plaintains as a good source of carbs (as well as potatoes). Here's the article: http://whole9life.com/2015/02/eat-post-workout/ This got me really confused cause here in Brazil plaintains are viewed as fruit , and they are actually called something like "earth bananas". Hahaha. And i love them, so it'd be great news if I could actually eat them on my post workout meal. what do you guys think?

    hey @Jmb369 yeah, i feel better overall! i wish i i had my measurements taken so I Could compare this too, but i'll just have to look at the pictures. I'm taking those tomorrow I think. Or maybe not at all. I do plan on staying with this group, even though i'm pretty sure i'll migrate to paleo after re-intro.

    thanks, @Anetters, you're absolutely right. i'm focusing on my NSV now, and actually my reaction to not losing any weight is something to think about, too. I hope everyone is doing great on their last few days!

    Soooo last day. I weighed myself. I gained 1 kg. I know i shouldnt measure this experience only by me scale result buy this sure feels crappy.

    only 6??? 27th day almost over guys!! Are you planning on what you'll introduce first?? I think i'll do dairy, but I'll just have some cheese on my burgers at lunch, i think, since i don't really miss anything else on that group. Today i'm just feeling blah and wishing it was over already - i have a mirror right in front of my bedroom door and it's hard not to analyze my figure everytime i'm changing clothes sooo i'm kinda bummed i'm not looking like i thought i would at this point. i know we're not supposed to, and i'm trying to not think about it too much.

    @britgirl yay, thanks! congrats on not licking your fingers, hahaha, i'm staying away from all the baking activities for now (my sister's a chef and we have a tiny cake business), but i'll soon have to resource to spitting icing on the sink hahaha. what's that pdf you're talking about? i'd love to see it! i'm gettin anxious about the Return of the Dragon, bahaha, It's been sleepin right around the corner. About the food, so haaard thinking about stuff that will go well without a fridge. i''d say eggs and definitely a small cooler if you have one!

    day 21 for me was pretty much like expected. i felt tired of it all, i just wanted a quick meal and not doing the dishes. of course that didnt happen. my 20th day was interesting because i was ta a wedding. at first i was in the worst mood ever because the caterer didnt answer my questions and when i got there i realized i couldnt eat anything but grapes. but after a while it hit me: i was okay. i ate the grapes and declined every appetizer that came my way, and i was OKAY. I didnt eat dessert, or the pasta they were serving at dinner, or rice. and guess what? again, i was ok!!! i danced the night away and came home at 3am, and the best part was, i wasn't bloated at all and i didn't have to take anything for nausea before bed - which i always had to because of all the eating and all the sugar (or else i'd wake up during the night wanting to throw up). also, yesterday, my father kept telling my how great i looked and that he was so proud of me. he asked me a million questions about whole30! my parents have a pretty healthy diet, they are active and look really good. and now they want to try this out for a month i dont know if they will, but it felt nice to hear how they were inspired by me. i hope you are all doing well (and sleeping a little bit better, Natalie! ) let the countdown begin!!!

    day 19 guys!!!! how are you feeling? has tiger blood hit you yet? i'm feeling pretty great, i'm sleeping better and waking up revigorated, and my cravings are under control (aka i'm not dreaming about sugar or feeling like i rather die than continue with this, but i would really much like to have chocolate on my reintro days); oh and my workouts are great! tomorrow i have a wedding!! i've already emailed the caterer to ask some questions about the food, cause i dont want to eat something that i shouldnt by mistake. some awesome people on the forum advised me to do it so i did it i hope it all goes well.
