    @Crimsann Thank you, and I'm envious of your vacation. I don't think I would have been successful if I'd been traveling during this time. I even chose not to participate in a few dinners, parties, and trips, because my Whole60 was more important to me. But the other side of this story is that I'm pretty beat and ready for a vacation myself. Word to the wise: Don't move to a new house across town while on Whole30...every spare second should be used for grocery shopping and meal prepping...not packing, unloading, and painting...ugh. But at least I learned how to make do while staying compliant.

    Have been doing this for almost 4 months, now

    Hi Ashley and TamMarie, I just finished a Whole60 (my first time). It was really worth it for me to go longer than 30 days. I feel like a new person. Clothes are fitting better, went down a pants size, more energy for Saturday morning exercise, and new eating habits. From start to finish, I lost 23 pounds, which is the most I've ever lost before. I'm now starting a month of reintroductions because I realize it's not possible for me to live a Whole365, but ultimately I'd like to keep eating this way as much as possible. Any advice on how to avoid slipping into old habits?

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    Just wanted to report here that I finished my Whole60 and I'm so proud of myself for doing a hard thing. My clothes are fitting better, went down a pants size, I have more energy for Saturday morning hiking, skin and hair on fleek, and gained a whole new set of eating habits. This has been so good for me. I weighed myself after the Whole60 was complete and I went down 23 pounds from June 2nd. This is the most I've ever lost before! I still have a long way to go, but Whole30 has taught me how to make progress towards my goal. I'm starting a month of reintroductions now, so I will still be eating Whole30 almost full-time. Thanks to everyone in this thread for the support over the past two months!

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    I was reading some other comments about the meal template and the goal of going 4-5 hours between meals. I am struggling with this a bit. I TRIED to eat 3 eggs for breakfast, and inevitably, there's a moment in my meal where I feel that pang of, "I'm done" and every bite after that is nausea-inducing. But then I'm hungry again about 3 hours later. I guess it's just hard for me to fit in all the nutrients I need to last me 4-5 hours. I'm doing ok, but it is still a bit of a challenge. Also, I'm starving by 5 pm so I eat an early dinner and then I'm starving again before bed, and I've been really trying to not eat again after dinner, but it's uncomfortable. Any advice? Girls' Whole30 brunch tomorrow morning, and I'm going to try my hand at Hollandaise sauce over scrambled eggs, sweet potatoes, and brussels sprouts. Sides of spinach salad with marinaded onions and green olives with a berry medley to round out the meal.

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    I'm now 2/3 of the way done with my Whole60! I'm starting to experience kitchen burnout...the recipe research, grocery shopping, kitchen work, meal prepping...I'm not as gung-ho as I was during the first 30 days. But I'm managing. I decided to put some zest in my kitchen life by inviting 4 friends over this Sunday for a Whole30-themed brunch. It will be my way of showing them how delicious Whole30 eating can be. Anyone have any great breakfast/brunch recipes to share?

    First Whole30 Starting July 2nd

    Hi @hope.173 I start day 31 of Whole60 on July 2nd so I'm treating it like I started back over at day 1. So, we're on day 5 now. What NSVs are ya'll noticing so far? During my first round, by day 4 my headaches and upper back and neck pain and stiffness (chronic) had completely disappeared and hasn't come back at all. There have only been two incidences where a headache has come back within the last 30 days and those were the days after I'd been out in the sun too long the day before and got dehydrated. But the stress and sugar addiction headaches and aches and pains are gone gone gone!

    @MamaPajama you're not a dumb adult. And you just finished Whole30, which is a huge accomplishment. It sounds like you know what habits you could be improving on. Take the Whole30 habits you developed and apply it to today, even if that means 3 "less healthy" meals a day, but fill your plate with still generally good for you foods. As you continue in Food Freedom, you will still see some pounds melt off! If anyone wants to keep checking in, I'm still going to Whole60 so could use some motivation. Feel free to jump back on the bandwagon.

    Starting my Whole30 on July 2nd

    I'm starting day 31 on July 2nd, so I'm treating it like I'm starting over to day 1. I will do a Whole60. I'm excited for you guys who are committed to start today. You're going to see incredible changes. Use the Whole30 Day by Day book, if you can. I checked mine out from the library and it was the best system to keep me motivated and track the changes going on in my body.

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    Today is my day 31 of Whole60, so I'm treating today like I'm back at day 1. I did weigh myself to capstone my Whole30 and I was pleased with the 12 pounds I lost. I have a long ways to go, but I am making progress. My favorite NSVs are clear skin, no headaches or neck/back tension, faded stretch marks, clothes fitting looser, no more sugar cravings, peppier mood. I didn't take measurements before or after, but I can tell there is a loss. I'm more motivated than ever to keep going. Summer is an amazing time to do Whole30. My most consistent cravings during Whole30 were buttered toast and popcorn. I was surprised at how much I thought about those foods. I never craved sugar, just the buttery carbs! But, there's no point on dwelling on these cravings, because it will be at least another 30 days before I reintroduce.

    I'm proud of everyone who hit 30 days today. I'd love to hear more about your final thoughts, day 31 reflections, reintro experiences, etc. I'll add mine as well. I ran into a friend today who's done Whole30 twice, and her advice was to take reintro slow, like focus on one food group for a week at a time. And with sugar start very slow, like with honey, etc. I think I'll try to take her advice on that!

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    I forgot to do the exercise night. I was in the kitchen until after 9:00. I still have 3 more days, but I'm definitely continuing through July, so reintroductions are not on my mind right now. My first 30 days, I've stayed close to the Whole30 Day by Day book and my spreadsheet where I record everything, but for the next 30 days, I want to break away from the hand-holding and see what it's like to live Whole30 freestyle (still meal prepping, of course). I'll keep recording my NSVs as well. I am excited/nervous to step on the scale on July 2nd. I honestly don't think my body composition has changed much. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. And I'm going into it knowing that whatever the scale says, I will use that to motivate me to do a successful Whole60.

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    I went to Costco last night for the first time since starting Whole30 and I was so overwhelmed by all the non-compliant foods there. No wonder America is overweight. I got out of there with raw cashews and a watermelon. But here's the kicker: I was responsible for our staff birthday party dessert today, so I had to buy one of those massive All-American chocolate cakes and serve it to my coworkers, all without taking a single bite. It was a drag, but it's over and I'm feeling good the rest of the day instead of stuffed and lethargic. I've learned that when facing decadent foods and cravings, it will all be over soon and you won't even be thinking about it a few hours from now. You'll feel good and those who indulged will feel a little yucky, right?!

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    Everyone have a good week and a great strong finish to your Whole30. I have at least 3 parties to get through this week, but I will stay strong and be prepared. I'm more motivated than ever! Just as we did a "burger night" last week, who would be up for a group exercise night? We pick a date and everyone commit to go for a walk, hike, swim, weight lift, planks on your living room floor, whatever works for you. How about Thursday night this week?

    Starting whole30 6/1/18

    @Crimsann you inspired me and I made burgers tonight! I ate 1/2 of one. It was my favorite meal I've had so far. So good I felt like I was cheating. Seasoned beef patties, compliant bacon, homemade mayo infused with chopped pickles and basil leaves, mustard, over garden baby greens, and topped with the crispy shallot recipe in the Whole30 cookbook. I would have loved to add a thick homegrown tomato slice, but I don't have any.
