I am a cooking fanatic and love entertaining and cooking for friends, usually with a bottle of wine. I have 2 small children 6 and 1, who are my pride and joy. They keep me very busy! I recently embarked on a journey to a primal/paleo lifestyle, trying to focus on diet, sleep, nature, and meditation for optimal health and general well-being. I'm passionate about teaching people about organic, whole foods’ power to heal mind and body, as well as prevent and cure most maladies and disease. When I'm not chasing around my kids or whipping up something delicious, I enjoy making all natural beauty products and listening to my vinyl record collection.

    The crazy things people say

I've gotten this one before too...... People act like I'm abusing my child by not letting them have sugar, dairy, and grains. I have a 16 month old and my grandma kept buying milk for her when she would watch her. Me "Grandma I told you she doesn't drink milk" Grandma "I've never heard of such a thing!"

    The crazy things people say

My SIL in response to me explaining I don't eat processed food because it's loaded with chemicals and sugar and can cause major health problems. "The government wouldn't let them sell that stuff to us if it was unhealthy"

    Your favorite tea

Chai tea is by far my favorite. I also love ginger green tea. I drink Celestial's sleepytime tea on occassion. If you really miss your coffee, I would recommend buying a breakfast blend, they're very light and then brewing it weak. If you're using a conventional coffee pot I would use 1 T. per 2 cups. This is what I did to start drinking it black. Also I liked drinking A LOT of coffee so I would make it weak to enjoy the flavor but not get the jitters. Good luck!
