    Breakfast Feedback

    Thanks for the feedback everyone! I also prefer non-breakfast foods for "meal 1," but have a hard time stomaching many veggies so early in the day.

    Breakfast Feedback

    Hi! I am on Day 13, feeling great and not looking back! I was hoping to get some feedback on my breakfast. I feel satisfied and don't have the urge to snack but feel a little iffy about breakfast (not a ton of veggies), but included what I generally eat. I am not super crazy about eggs either, but open to ideas Breakfast: - one & half links of chicken and apple sausage cooked in coconut oil (Aaaa-mazing, by the way) - whole baked sweet potato - coffee - 1 cup of coconut milk Lunch: - 3 to 4 cups of roasted veggies (either in coconut oil or clarified butter) - serving of pulled pork or shredded chicken Dinner: - serving of meat or fish - spaghetti squash or cauliflower rice with lots of spices - 3 to 4 cups of roasted veggies (different from lunch) Sometimes after dinner, I will have a kiwi or a serving of pineapple but have been trying to avoid triggering my sweet tooth with fruit.   3. Out of every type of workout I've done, I felt and looked my best when doing yoga!! Even better than with intense boot camp style stuff... I just don't always like rushing to a yoga class so I found a Groupon to - check it out. We have been doing it every day and there are tons of options from relaxing to hardcore. Oddly, I seem to push myself more at home than in a class - I am not as self conscious when it is just us at home

    Shredded unsweetened coconut

    Try coconut shrimp! I have a weird texture thing with coconut and sometimes don't care for an overwhelmingly coconut-y taste as well. Coconut shrimp is out of this world and easy! I just take peeled shrimp, dip it in egg, then coat with a mixture of shredded coconut, salt, pepper, and dried cilantro. One minute on each side in a pan with coconut oil and YUM! Better than any other "fried" shrimp I've had and I love a good fried shrimp

    Grab-and-go Breakfast

    Breakfast is a tough one for me. I have been cooking a big batch of delicious Apple and Chicken Sausage cut into slices ahead of time - it's really tasty cold! And then the night before I wash and prep a sweet potato then pop it in the microwave in the morning while I shower. I grab both of these and then whatever leftover veggies I have with me and eat at work. The sweet potato is what seems to really keep me even and not hungry until lunch time. It's also easy Let us know what you end up doing. And BTW, Costco sells the amazing Apple and Chicken Sausage that is Whole30 compliant.

    Trying to drink coffee

    Before adding to my coffee this morning, I happened to put my coconut milk in a blender just to mix the watery and creamy parts better. WOW! It takes better than a latte. I will never drink my coffee a different way again. The coconut comes out creamy but still thick and oh so yummy!
