Starting October 1st Facebook Accountability Group

Hi Everyone: No matter what day you start, you are welcome to come to the Facebook link I posted above. It doesn't have to be just an October 1st start day. I wish I had phrased that differently in my topic heading.

Starting October 1st Facebook Accountability Group

Hi Natalie: You come over to Facebook and join out group if you haven't already. Was it a Whole 30 group asking you to pay? Because that's just crazy since the whole program is right on this site for free compliments of the founders!

We have a nice little group forming Remember, it doesn't matter what day you start, just that you start. In case the Facebook link has gotten buried, here it is. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/898465310191241/

Starting October 1st Facebook Accountability Group

Please join. All are welcome, no matter when you started or when you start. All words of encouragement and support are welcome, as well as "seasoned" Whole 30'ers who can help those who haven't gone through it before. This is my second, but I remember those crucial first 10 days and was so thankful for the voice of reason from others who had been there. Click this link and I will add you. https://www.facebook.com/groups/898465310191241/

Thank you Shannon. I read through that article before I started the page and hope I did it justice. I created a "mission statement" and indicated that Whole 30 did not endorse our page. I most definitely would like to keep this group smaller (around 200 people or so) as I find when you are in a larger group, you have a tendency to get lost and I want everyone to feel encouraged and supported. If you'd like, you are welcome to join just to ensure I have not done anything that would violate the Whole 30 trademark rules or anything else.

Click on this link and ask to join. I am so excited to be sharing this journey with y'all. I did write a short "mission" statement saying we will be following the guidelines of the Whole 30 and also asking that no shaming or bullying be allowed. Also, no SWYPO type recipes. See y'all there! https://www.facebook.com/groups/898465310191241/

Starting October 1st Facebook Accountability Group

Hi Kerry. I'll create a FB group around September 28th and post the link here for everyone to join. I hope we have a lot of people join us. Doing this as a group is so much more effective because you can encourage each other, be support for those hard times of craving and learn a lot of new recipes and information. So excited to be starting this again.
  11. Hello. I am starting my second Whole 30 on October 1st and wanted to start a Facebook accountability/support group. This will be a closed group so friends/family won't be able to see your posts. Is anyone interested? If so, reply on this topic and I'll get it created on Facebook and post the link. I am so excited about doing this again. My first one was very successful and I felt amazing at the end of it. However, I've slid back into unhealthy eating patterns and my poor body is paying for it with full on auto immune disorder. Time to get my inflammation back under control. Hope to meet some new, like minded people soon.

Did I Mess Up TOO Bad?

I threw out all the mayo I had made and made some new with the apple cider vinegar today. I actually like it much better as it's not as acidic and has a richer, thicker taste.

Did I Mess Up TOO Bad?

NO, NO, NO - please say I don't have to start over. I'm on Day 9 and I didn't even think about looking at the damn Real Lemon Lemon Juice. I've only used it to make my homemade mayo (2 tbs) so I'm not getting a huge amount of it, so I'll go on, but that really sucks and it also really reinforces the need to really read every single label and not take anything for granted.
  14. What great information.. While I am eating compliant and full plates at each meal, I am also starting my day off having a fruit and for the last few days, I've been really tired and sluggish. For some reason I thought fruit was okay to have with Meal 1 and 2, but not after. I usually eat grapes or berries at both meals, so I'll try to cut it down to just one. I've switched to apples instead of grapes though just because they are such a high sugar source. Since this is my first Whole 30, things are a little overwhelming and I get a little confused as to what to do, so I am really glad to have read this.

    Starting on 1st September

I am starting on September 1st too. So glad this group is here. I couldn't find a "live" one on Facebook. I've got autoimmune issues that are greatly triggered by foods. I've played around with paleo before trying to heal my leaky gut (and yes, the six months that I was compliant it did heal it). I'm 52 years old and am so sick and tired of being sick and tired and I'm ready to make permanent changes. This will be my first Whole 30.
