Thanks for the heads up Dave! I'm working on a plan for the day or two that the fridge is cleaned out. Thinking canned foods will be the most convenient - tuna, salmon, olives, plus fresh veggies. I have a few go-to's at the restaurants around here too that are compliant if it comes down to "lets run out for lunch". My biggest worry is going too long without eating bc we are "in the groove". Luckily, we aren't moving too far from the rental. Enjoying reading everyone's posts! Keep up the good work! Happy to see some familiar names on here. About to leave work, cook up some dinner and then vacuum... although if my fella has to work early vacuuming might not happen until the morning. But it will get done... I need to anyway - a few good runs before the carpet cleaners come.

I am in the process of moving out of my rental. I have 2 weeks to pack it all up so I've been doing 30+ minutes each evening of cleaning and boxing. Tonight I'll do the guest bathroom as I'm saving the fridge for last... a deep clean after, empty it fully, turn it off and get it to room temp.

Nah, I'm not going anywhere I'm just going to keep trucking along. I like holistic meds but I had to stop taking them on w30 since the tinctures usually contain grain alcohol. Osha syrup was my favorite for a sore throat but it contains honey or molasses. So now I just chew on the root itself. It helps to clear my sinuses.

Ohhh RFRD your hash sounds good with the mixed potatoes. I will have to try that! I'm the same way about ghee. It's hard for me to sub olive oil when I can have the buttery goodness of ghee. And it's so easy to make! Sadly I'm starting over tomorrow. I went to Vegas this past weekend for a 3 day country music festival and it was so hard to stay compliant. If I had been able to eat at a buffet each meal it would've been no problem. But we were on grounds from 2pm-12am for 3 days. I did the best I could and didn't go all binge-y crazy so I'm proud of myself for that. I don't have anything else planned like that for a few months thankfully. I wasn't prepared for that. I was getting headaches when I wasn't eating enough food. Now that your body is getting energy from fat and protein (not sugar) you might need to up your food intake. You're turning into a well oiled machine by now.

I used to hate to cook. I'm slowly falling in love with it and the challenges it brings. I rely heavily on my crockpot though. I cook everything in it. One of my favorites is to layer baby carrots, sliced onion, a can of diced tomatoes and chicken thighs (that I've rubbed with an olive oil seasoning - usually Italian seasoning, salt and pepper) and cook on low for 8 hours. It's an all in one meal - veggies, fat and protein.

A good excuse that's easy to explain 9 months later is food allergies.

When in doubt I either roast zucchini or make cauliflower rice as a side. I made spaghetti last night. Well not really made, but warmed up. I found a wonderful compliant marinara since I was short on time. Sadly, it was much better than my made from scratch sauce. lol My fella eats regular noodles and I put my meat sauce on leftover roasted zucchini. It was good and less hassle (time) than making spaghetti squash. I'm going to try the recipe for roasted cabbage. Thanks! I will be running to the farmer's market straight after work.

    Meatloaf lacks flavor- suggested fixes?

Do you top it with a tomato sauce of some sort? I add Tabasco sauce to my tomato sauce. I spoon 1/3 on before putting in the oven and then add the rest for the last 15 minutes. I'm going to try the diced pickles next time.

Marty I was going to recommend Melissa Joulwan's meal plan as well. I'm prepping to make her olive oil mayo as we speak. I also use recipes from Nom Nom Paleo's website. My go to for recipes though is Pinterest. I like to keep my meals as basic as possible. Seasoned meat, veggies and a fat. On the weekends I prep for my lunches all week. I have 2 crockpot running, one with Nomnom paleo Kalua pork and the other with chicken breast in a compliant green enchilada sauce. Then I'll sautee veggies in the morning for both b'fast and lunch. I've learned it's best simple and planned in advance. Good luck!

I read more into the triggers. It's not tea itself but the temperature of it. So whew! I love my tea. I'll just have to keep it cold. I think w30 will make a difference. During my 1st one friends commented on my "glow" and didn't notice the redness as much. I'm working on using the last of my spinach and avocados and then I won't be buying anymore. SRhodes 63 days is impressive! Great job!

Welcome! I too have skin issues. Years ago I was told it was perioral dermatitis and I could take antibiotics, but I passed. I just cover it with makeup. I saw a new derm a few months ago and she said it looks like rosacea. I'm trying new products but haven't had much luck. When I completed my first W30 I did notice some improvement with the redness. However, I didn't stick with it and went back to having redness.I've been doing some research around rosacea and am going to remove foods that are thought to trigger it in my next round of 30 days. Sadly that includes 3 of my favorites - avocado, spinach and tea. http://www.rosacea.org/patients/materials/triggers.php I plan to add them to my reintro list to see if they all trigger it or if its something(s) specific. W30 will definitely help with mood, brain fog and energy levels as well! Good luck with your W30! I look forward to your updates.

Thank you MeGA! It's rough. It was a rough week. I'm trying my best to not feel discouraged. Just take it as a new lesson and cultivate a new plan. Life will always have its ups and downs, something of this sort will happen again. I just need to train my brain to autopilot some good decisions. I really try to avoid quick food solutions but I think it would've helped to have some items in the back of my mind that I can eat on the fly. Items that would have gotten me by. Lack of time, lack of sleep and high stress = no bueno. It's been a much better day! I made salad last night with all of the veggies I was supposed to use during the week and didn't. I didn't want them to go bad. Looking forward to have some more with lunch in about 10 minutes. I just have to thaw my dressing. The only thing I didn't get to do over the weekend was make ghee. It's on my list to do tonight. I can catch up on all your posts while it heats up.

    Dirty Thirty "Roundup and Ride"!

Good Monday Morning Everyone!! I'm baaaccckkk! Last Wednesday we had a family disaster... I'd day emergency but it lasted 4 days. My Brain Train was not equipped for high stress, hormones and long days. While I didn't swing from the rafters, I still wasn't compliant and my body is still paying for it. I was transported back to the days where I didn't eat for 8+ hours bc I didnt have time to prep/cook but this time I was scared to eat those bad for me things. It looks like I missed some great posts once again. So I will be taking some time to catch up. Just wanted to say hello. I'm back and back on track. Yesterday was a day of grocery and meal prep. I could feel the therapy of planning and cooking enter my head and the stress started falling away. Woo saaa...
