Ronswife31
I'm on day 14 of my first whole 30 and am still taking blood pressure and allergy meds. I've been trying not to eat anything after 7:00 but need to wait for these meds till 9-10 PM. What would be the best type of food to give me a little cushion for these pills? MrsStick
A very small mini-meal. Nothing too big, as you don't want to have heartburn. Just avoid fruit on its own...it actually doesn't feel too good if you do it - had shoulder surgery two months after my W30 and learned that when taking my pain meds. Ronswife31
Thanks for your response MrsStick. I was thinking it would be wise to stay away from fruit at night. Maybe a spoonful or 2 of squash or a little nut butter on a piece of celery. I'll experiment.
MrsStick
I wasn't W30, so I did do some GF bread. Fruit made my mouth taste/feel funny and left me really not hungry the rest of the day. It just messed me up overall, which is why I'd recommend avoiding it (that and it can be a slippery slope to candy too).
