Jimmie Orvilleson Posted January 17, 2014 Share Posted January 17, 2014 I am starting tomorrow (it is late afternoon so today is sort of shot as a starting point...). I am 260 lbs and until 2.5 months ago was an ultra runner - albeit a heavy one! I am 68 years old and like to sport and fit weights. I need to cut out grains - especially bread. i am diabetic but have never taken medication because I run instead. While I have had very good control of my blood sugar levels in the past, things have been out of control side getting a couple of injuries and am desperate to regain control of my diet and running. I am currently doing well with weight training but running is my best diabetes and weight control. Fingers crossed - and intending to regain my lost discipline.
