is 20 minute spinning class considered a workout??

If you consider CrossFit workouts typically are not much more than that time wise, yeah. The key is the WORK. If you are maxing output at say 90% for 20 minutes, you have it done. For me, Post/Pre w/o meals never happen. But I ma trying to lose weight and don't need a meal to maintain the weight. I do short, intense workouts as well and they are WORKOUTS!
