how should I eat on race day?

I have a 10k race coming up very soon, it starts at 10am. How would be best to eat that day in terms of when/what etc?

 

No lucozade or jelly babies for me!!

How many days into your Whole30 will you be? You'll want to set your expectations accordingly if you're still within the first 2 weeks.

 

Key: Eat plenty of high carb veggies in the 2-3 days before the race.

 

I'd eat a regular breakfast within an hour of waking (6-730 am, ideally). You probably won't need anything before your race, but if you eat really early, like 530 am, I'd go with a hard boiled egg 30 minutes before your race or a couple of spoonfuls of compliant almond or sunflower seed butter.
