Elia Caterina
Hello everyone! I've just started my Whole30 ( Day 3) and am currently living in China, Beijing. I have been finding it extremely difficult to find any sort of Coconut products, or whole30 compliant restaurants here. Do any of you have any advice regarding how to make my Whole30 lifestyle easier here in Beijing? Thank you so much! Really, any advice is appreciated! -Elia
MrsStick
Coconut oil isn't the only allowable cooking oil. Do you have access to olive oil? Or even, if you have access to compliant fatty meats, you could save the grease from them and use those to cook with (e.g. bacon grease). As for restaurants, your best bet is to order steamed veggies/meat without any sauces. I feel for you - I'm living in Korea (and don't speak the language well) so finding ANYTHING compliant is very difficult.
