Starting September 8!

Hey everyone.  I'm a total noob here, so don't mind me.  I am going to start my Whole 30 on September 8.  I am totally NERVOUS!  There's a lot going on in my life right now.  I am a full time graduate student (studying special education), I work full time, and I am moving to a new location on September 6.  A friend of mine is going to do it with me.  I would love to hear some advice and encouragement from anyone who has any to share.  My current eating habits are pretty awful, although I do a lot of cooking with whole foods and lots of veggies.  My problem is sweets, especially the processed kind.  I love cake and cookies.  I love sugar in my coffee.  I know I'm in for a fun few days when I start to detox.  Any hints to make it easier to get through?  Personal accounts?
