kaypho
I am nearing the end of day 3. Been feeling okay so far with no extreme side effects, however, this afternoon the backs of my calfs and my hammies are super achey. Just finished a whole banana to see if helps. This is actually my second attempt. Last week at day 4 I was so uncomfortably constipated I caved and returned to my former eating habits. This second go around I added more veggies and fat and I am, so far, pooping regularly. No gas either.
Melissa Urban
Kaypho, cramps are a somewhat common side effect during the Whole30. No one knows why they occur, but staying hydrated and taking a magnesium supplement (like Natural Calm) before bed each night might help. Best, Melissa
