Pre and post workout suggestions?

Hi everyone,

 

My fiancé and I are starting our Whole 30 journey tomorrow...woot! We both workout regularly and he drinks Muscle Milk before and after gym time. Given that he will have to let that go, does anyone know any the alternatives?

The recommended pre WO fuel is protein and fat, and post WO is protein and carb.  Many W30 folks opt for a hard boiled egg for pre WO, and chicken and sweet potato post WO.  Browse the athletes forum for other ideas.
