I try to shoot for 3 meals with minimal snacking in between for the most part like it says in the book. Do we just eat until satisfied? Best everyone! Ashley Posted September 6, 2012 Share Posted September 6, 2012 You should be eating 1-2 palm sized portions of protein, 1-2 thumbs of healthy fats & the rest of your plate filled with veggies for each meal. Within those meals, you can include a small portion of fruit or nuts. Snacking is not encouraged although it is better to eat a little something if you are going to become ill from lack of eating until your next meal. The portion guidelines should give you enough food to sustain you throughout the day without snacks though. If you feel like 1 palm is leaving you too hungry, have a little more at your next meal.
