Long run success!

Today, on day 25 of my Whole30, I had a breakthrough workout: 12 miles at 8:20/mile, which is just a few seconds slower than my previous half marathon race pace but today was an easy, conversational run with two friends and I had energy to spare at the end. This was by far my best run of the this training season so far and I attribute it in no small part to the metabolic changes that the Whole30 has helped to bring about. Oh, and that pre-run coconut oil! What is that stuff, magic??
