GFChris Posted November 4, 2015 Share Posted November 4, 2015 After having Strega sauce a few times from a family member's cooking and enjoying it, I picked up a jar myself today at my local grocer. I chuckled at the ingredient list (note especially the last two ingredients): Italian peeled tomatoes, tomato puree, fresh basil, citric acid, sea salt, fresh garlic, extra virgin olive oil, crushed red pepper, love, respect. For those of you who live in Massachusetts, this is the same Strega as Boston's North End restaurant. Got my jar in Market Basket. Mangia!!
