Hey team!

 

I was thinking I could start a thread where we share little tips we have learned to keep us motivated on our Whole 30 journeys! I am on Day 7 and I have learned how high-carb my life was until this point- valuable information!

 

So, my tip is that every day, I change my phone background to depict what day I am on. I find I get so wrapped up in the whole 30 days, so this keeps me grounded and reflecting on a daily level. It's also a nice reminder whenever I check my phone of what I am doing- try it out! Here are some random examples of good searches with "day" and then a number!

I used to treat myself with food after a hard day - now whenever I need a pick me up in the evenings I might give myself a facial, paint my nails, light a scented candle and read a good book. Just finding ways new ways to be nice to myself has helped me!
