Here I Go!

I spent 2 weeks reading the books and making a plan.  I started this journey by going to the gym every day on my way to work last week.  Sunday, I started the program and am going to the gym 5 days a week.  I am already feeling changes in the way my body feels and my wedding ring is loose, so I know something is happening.  My parents both died early from preventative diseases and they chose to continue to abuse their bodies even after diagnosis.  It seemed I was headed down that same path. I have been obese for over 26 years.   I was taught to eat my troubles away and the more sugar, processed or preserved, the better!  I have a long way to go and will continue to just worry about one day at a time.  So far, so good!  I have never participated in an online forum so I hope I can figure this out!  I am looking forward to learning from those of you who have "been there, done that"!
