I started Whole30 on Monday August 15th. I thought I prepared very well but find that I am still running to the store a lot and guessing on what I should eat for every meal. My purpose for this was to get some self control over my eating habits. I started doing Zumba 3 times a week and Pilates 2 times a week about 3 months ago, and gained a couple of pounds. I thought my diet was a big issue. (Ice Cream seemed to be an every night "treat").  I quit smoking almost 3 years ago, and rewarded myself with food.  I decided I didn't want to be on blood pressure meds so I started exercising, (and I was out growing my clothes). When I went back to the doctor, hoping to be taken off my meds, he doubled them. So, exercise alone didn't work so I am trying to "fix" my diet. I have never really had a lot of self control so this is a new experience for me.  The first couple of days haven't been as horrible as I expected. Time will tell!
