Busy Working Mom Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 I used to be a vegetarian and really want to add beans back to my diet so I can eat less meat. I just don't enjoy animal protein as much.... I started with white beans and chickpeas on Saturday (about 2 tablespoons of white beans with lunch and ½ cup chickpeas with dinner). I felt fine on Saturday and Sunday but was sluggish on Monday. Today (Wednesday) I tried chickpeas again and I had a similar sluggish feeling. I also feel some food cravings. How do I know for sure if it's the chickpeas or just random? Feeling very sad not to be able to have beans. I'm just not sure I can deal with a lifetime of meat /chicken dinners.
