LynnM Posted January 20, 2017 Share Posted January 20, 2017 I am on Day 6 and doing fine, but I have started getting canker sores in my mouth. I noticed one a couple of days ago, and now I have another one. Has anyone else experienced this? I know they will go away, so I'm not worried, but just wondering what might be causing them. whole_kat Posted January 20, 2017 Share Posted January 20, 2017 hmmm. I used to get canker sores in college due to stress and now I get canker sores if I eat raw tomatoes. Turns out nuts can give you canker sores (and major digestive problems, which I was also having!). I cut out nuts immediately. The canker site was gone in a day, and it took about 5 days for my digestion to regulate. If you're eating a lot of nuts or nut butters, you may want to try cutting them out for a bit.
