Diannhayden
I'm confused! People are talking about Larabars....well I looked at them today and they have tons of sugar. Also frozen veggies were recommended but they have sugar. What gives?
AmyS
You want to look at the Ingredients list rather than the Nutrition Facts box. If you see: Ingredients: Sugar - then that's out. Vegetables and fruits have naturally occurring sugars, but if anyone were to make an Ingredients list, it would be: Ingredients: Carrots. Larabars are sugar bombs and to be used only for the kind of emergency where the choice is eating a Larabar or eating your traveling companion. So remember, Ingredients lists are your friend on Whole30 (and be prepared to see sugar, soy, and other additives on Ingredients lists for products you never expected). Larabars are for emergencies only.
Diannhayden
Oh wow...that opens up a whole new world. So I should ignore the nutrition information and only concentrate on the ingredients. No wonder I was going crazy. THANK YOU!

Also, take your strong readers to the grocery store. Manufacturers hide those Ingredient lists in the darndest places.
