Bradlka
We have some friends we haven't seen in awhile who wanted to get together and catch-up. Because I'm on day 20, I suggested I cook rather than trying to find a place for us all to go out. They're coming tomorrow night and here is the Middle-eastern inspired menu I have planned: Appetizers: Baba ganoush (http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2014/02/the-best-baba-ganoush-recipe.html) with veggies for dipping (and pita chips for guests) Olives Bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with almonds Dinner: Harissa lamb chops (http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/harissa-spiced-lamb-chops-238423) sub ghee for butter/oil Tomato Pomegranate Salad (https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1018121-tomato-and-pomegranate-salad) feta on the side for guests Marinated Zucchini Salad (https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1013802-marinated-zucchini-salad) Crash hot potatoes (http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/crash-hot-potatoes/) cooked in ghee with a Turkish spice blend Friend asked what she could bring, I said dessert. That way I don't have to think about it! Had fun planning a compliant menu for non-whole30 guests... A challenge! Anyone else do any entertaining on Whole30?
