I switched to Primal Blueprint eating last year, after being advised to give up grains and legumes to reduce my symptoms of Crohns. I did, and it worked pretty well, but I've not been very good with my diet in December (holiday, work parties, working away etc) and the symptoms are coming back. I've decided to do the Whole30 as a reset, to try and get myself back on track and particularly to tackle the sugar dragons which have wormed their way back into my diet the last month or so!
