Help me with this fancy italian restaurant

My husband and I are taking my inlaws to ths restaurant in downtown chicago here is theirvmenu http://www.quartinochicago.com/lunch--amp--dinner-menu-pages-412.php

Obviously, i can eat the spuntini plates and probably the prociutto.

Pending further questioming, what entrees look the most promising? I will then call restaurant to confirm that they are free of grains, sugar, soybean oil etc.

Last time, i had the veal skirt steak figuring that to be at least 'primal' and it was so good.

What do y'all think?

Try the carpaccio (let them leave out dressing and cheese). Or ask for one of the veggy dishes in a small starter portio. Meat also looks wonderful. Watch out for balsamic syrup, they often turn the vinegar into syrup by adding honey or sugar.
