1Maryann
This article is a bit egg-headed, but raises some important issues regarding genetically modified foods. From the article: "This finding has serious ramifications for crop biotechnology and its regulation, but possibly even greater ones for consumers and farmers. This is because there are clear indications that this viral gene (called Gene VI) might not be safe for human consumption. It also may disturb the normal functioning of crops, including their natural pest resistance." TaneyR
GMO's are disgusting! Our co-op does a great job at educating its members about GMO's. It'll be nice if we can all get a bill passed that makes food manufacturers label GMO's.

Amazing, the influence of corporate $ on the ignorance of the masses.
