Lunch meats??

Recommended Posts

I have yet to find a compliant lunch meat. Your best bet would be to roast chicken or turkey breasts and slice your own. Breakfast sausage can have sugar in it, although I know that costco does carry some compliant sausage (pre cooked) I have found I have to make my own breakfast sausage to be sugar free and clean.

There are all kinds of steak--depends on what kind of cut you are interested in and how much you want to spend! I love rib eye (basically prime rib, with out the bone), t bone, sirloin, tenderloin. A yummy cut is a tri tip. It is a roast, but you can grill it or bake it and have meat for a few days. I love to marinate it over night in olive oil, rosemary, garlic, balsamic vinegar and fresh cracked pepper and toss it on a hot grill for about 25 minutes--10 on one side, 15 on the other, depending on thickness. Yum!
