jbasel31
Ok, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are both about an hour away from me. My husband can go Saturday after work to get Kerrygold for clarifying. In the meantime, can I make some using non pastured/organic unsalted butter? I plan on buying the Kerrygold but is using the non pastured/organic going to be ok from time to time? I just may not always have access since it's a semi-far drive.
Adagio
FYI, butter freezes quite well.
Robin Strathdee
You can clarify any butter you can find :0) While we'd love for everyone to have organic, pastured dairy we know that it's just not possible (for many reasons - mine is budget). We're more concerned about the milk solids. Hope that helps!
