pdc4
What are your thoughts on Mary's Gone Crackers? I always thought they were a healthy cracker choice. The ingredients on the website state: Brown rice, flax, quinoa, sesame, Non GMO, organic, gluten free, dairy free, vegan and nut free. They are so good! Jeanye Mercer
Brown rice and quinoa are not Whole30 approved. They fall in the grain category.
pdc4
I know they are not Whole 30 approved; but what about post Whole 30?
LivelyLady
I had them a few times before going paleo and they always really hurt my stomach. Now I realize it's the quinoa and possibly the rice. I learned over a year ago, even when I was still eating other grains, that I cannot do quinoa in any way. Hurts so bad. But, that's just me. TheLazyCaveman
Grains in general are very nutrient poor, so there's a better use of calories elsewhere. Additionally, all grains have a similar structure and can cause problems for you: http://whole9life.com/2011/11/gluten-free-part-1/ Remember, the 30 days isn't a crash diet, it's about inducing real, sustainable change.
