Kimberly G
I bought Trader Joe's Ghee at the very beginning of my Whole30. I've used it very infrequently, but as I have gotten more Whole30 experience I have started to always look at ingredients... It shows TJ Ghee, ingredient: Unsalted Butter. but then right after that it says "contains Milk" Is this cool? Why do I feel guilty every time I use Ghee..... Im getting a lil OCD, me thinks.... Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted March 14, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 14, 2017 Because it's made from milk and by law they're required to write that on the label... some people with extreme sensitivities to dairy will react to ghee but for the purposes of Whole30 and the majority of folks, ghee is fine. No guilt required.
