    I've been craving PB too! I didn't even reintroduce it after my last full round in November & mini round that I did in January, but I find myself sticking my nose in the jar when I make my daughter's lunch! So weird!

    I should have mentioned that I didn't cook the broccoli! But the recipe does call to cook it, so you could probably use frozen.

    Have you tried mayo based dressings? I don't have any recipes immediately at hand, but I bet if you do a forum or google search you will come across many.

    Everyone is different and some don't have improved sleeping patterns until close to the end of their 30 days. Are you eating within one hour of waking? This is a tip I've heard from the moderators that starts to regulate your hormones and make sure you watch your caffeine intake! One other tip is to make sure you follow the meal template.....veggies, fat and protein. It makes all the difference.

    Yes, to the above comments! I use my immersion blender and "try" to drink a cup before it gets cold and starts to separate. If/when that happens I reheat in the microwave and give it another whirl with my blender. I love it and after my trying it for the first time during a Whole 30 last year I never went back to sugar and cream.

    Happy Day 7 Whole 30ers! I'm feeling extra perky this morning after a solid 10 hours of sleep! I did have strange/vivid dreams.....not about food, yet I wanted to share a recipe that I made last night. It was so good and hit the spot after an all day family outing where all I ate was an RX bar. Needless to say we were starving when we got home!     Friday nights are tough! I always feel I deserve a glass or two of wine for making it through the week. Throw in a grouchy 7 year old and a husband who's working late (who also mentioned how much he'd like a beer) and it makes for a serious case of willpower! It doesn't help that I have two open bottles of wine in the fridge calling my name. I know I should just dump them out, that they probably aren't going to be too tasty come day 31..... I keep telling myself that it's only 30 days and that I've done it before, I can do it again!

    I'm also struggling with sleep albeit a little differently. I have no problem falling asleep, but I don't stay asleep. I toss and turn and pop awake several hours before my alarm is due to go off. This experience is normal for me as I've gone through it every time I start a Whole 30. It usually takes me a few weeks to get into a solid sleep pattern. It hasn't helped that my husband has either been watching TV or on the computer in bed As far as the bathroom goes, I'm exactly the same. I've always drank A LOT of water, but I think I drink even more now and it's the additional vegetables that I'm consuming that is forcing me to get up one or two times per night. So, you aren't alone! Happy Day 5!

    The forum is a wealth of information! I still spend time on it even though I've done several Whole 30's and am pretty familiar with the rules. I try to stick to three meals in addition to a post workout meal. I will have a mini-meal if I'm really hungry and not just trying to satisfy a craving. The fruit is absolutely fine as long as it's part of a meal. There are those that report sugary cravings later in the day if they eat fruit with meal 1. It may be best to save it for meal 3 if you experience this. My husband is joining me this go around. I'm not having my 7 year old join us, but she eats what we eat at dinner and I try to have her eat as clean as possible. Having your kiddos cook with you is a great idea! I actually spoke to my daughter this week about picking a meal that she wants to help me make on Saturday...we'll see how that goes

    Day 3! How is everyone feeling? My sleep was so-so last night.....this is typical for me during the first few weeks. I fall asleep early and easily, but then I pop awake around 3:30 or 4 a.m. I stayed in bed until the alarm went off at 5:30 and I do feel energized and rested today. I see a nap in my future later today though Especially after Body Pump this morning. I've been struggling with eating within an hour of waking....I'm so busy getting my daughter and husband fed and out the door that I don't sit down to eat until after they've left. I need to work on that!
