    Well...the day is just about over. 30 days are quickly coming to an end. Thank you ALL...this focused and determined bunch on THIS thread were definitely instrumental in my success. I hope we have all secured more grip over the inanimate object...food...and will carry this knowledge on...that cravings come and go, but we remain in control of the outcome. No guilt, just well informed choices. Well done everyone...WELL DONE!!!

    My FFF will come in two days. I am determined to keep this thing right...as right as humanly possible- resetting quickly when it gets a little dirty...not allowing a swamp to occur before I pull myself back in... I have two days to be very honest with myself: do I need to extend to be fully confident about being in control, or am I ready? This weekend was great. I want THAT as my majority...bold and determined to choose what I eat and enjoy my choices... The book comes on MY 30-May 2nd. This time, it's a lifelong journey... We can all do this Let's DOOOOO it!!!!!

    It is quite astonishing the amount of FOOLISHNESS that crosses our path the last leg of the race: Today: free breakfast (had brisket and potatoes...yum) Tomorrow: appreciation luncheon. Home cooked food. Sunday: taken out for anniversary at a restaurant that I love. Savory AND sweet. Yup. It's good in a way. This is real life, in real time. But crew...we DO life. We know how now. All of us will make it to Monday with new found zeal and strength!!!! BRING IT!!!!!

    Cravings will always be. We have boot camped our way into mindfulness. When SD roared...you didn't cave. (I am NOT AFRAID of you!!) We've learned that WE are the animate objects, and food is INANIMATE. We've learned that...HECK YEA...we have a CHOICE to eat or NOT to eat. Melissa CALLS this something... We now know, almost 30 days later, the METHOD in conducting ourselves when the cravings DO come. Cool points to ALL of us for not caving in, giving up, justifying minimizing or rationalizing a slip that could cost us the game... actions that probably would NOT have taken place a month ago... We've GOT this..now and forward.

    @tutormom, please. You've had this, you had this, you got this. It's the brain. As has been said, some of us (I have my hand raised) may have spent YEARS eating the way we "DID" before the whole. We have accomplished the unbelievable in a few weeks... believable only because we're LIVING it. Advertising companies spend crazy money for seconds of advertising... because they know that pics WORK. See a hamburger...WANT a hamburger. Hey... drastic times (last days of whole) may call for drastic measures... Only YOU can prevent forest fires. HEY!!!????!!! YOU GOT THIS. LET'S DOOOOO THIS!!!

    I am day 23 and already looking at day 31. I already know that grains give me knee issues, as does soy, too much sugar gives me a migraine (duh...), And pasta puts me in a coma...from PREVIOUS wholes... The closer I get, the more convinced that I will just stay away from these things. Insanity is continuing to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results. Enough. Come on. Taste buds rule no more... I was literally typing this morning rolling into the stop I get off to walk. Thanks for being here to reach out to. I hit send, grabbed my stuff and literally jumped off the train. I really want to get some good walking in on the countdown... since we're all fat burning machines now!!!

    Pancake house Steak house Some function or gathering These are the moments I may or may not partake of 'the trilogy of inflammation'. My wedding anniversary is this weekend. Personally, I no longer see that day as a 'no holds barred' day. I cringe as I recall some past years, when we PURPOSELY bought everything horrid to consume during that weekend...and I'm not even including wine or other liquors... Food and occasions...such a trick bag. It's about my man...not a plethora of palatable pleasures...that render me useless the next few days. This has been an awesome journey. I am WHOLE...

    Bought more sweet potato, but fixed zucchini, yellow squash and Bell pepper in olive oil and balsamic vinegar...21 seasonings salute for flavor, alongside a chicken breast. Was good. I'm satisfied. Tomorrow, 20, starts the countdown. But I will not be blasting off (half a pizza)...I will launch into my new life of eating. It will be official. Exciting times now, and ahead!     @suzannes, very good stuff going on there. I have never done two in a row before...the thought is not repulsive. It helps to know there IS no going back to foolishness. Diabetes is a definite game changer. So life after whole will not be much different. Are we attempting to keep this group into the next 30? You all let me know what you want to do. If there are enough of us, I'm in... Feeling good. Knees not hurting going up the stairs is blowing my hair back. Amazing... Whatchall wanna do???

    Jalapeño pepper soaked in vinegar...on JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING at some point in the week...from omelets to chicken to fish. A spicy kick gets me through...mustard, peppers and hot sauce do it for me. But I'm weird.
