    Congratulations everyone!!!! What has everyone decided? Continue the lifestyle or going back to some old habits? i lost 8lbs. 1” around my bust 1.5” around my ribs 1” around my waist and 2” around my hips! I could not not be happier! i have not ended up with more energy. If anything I am always feeling tired, but I’ll figure that out. I have added wine back in and it makes me feel bloated, headache-e, cotton mouthed and totally inflamed my sinuses. The things im looking forward to adding back in are things like oatmeal, quinoa and hummus. (Keeping them IF, they don’t make me feel bad.) I will continue to read my labels and cook/ meal prep whole30 style. Doing the whole30 has also opened my eyes to food waste and has made me realize I want to compost! It has also made me aware of all the other waste I produce/bring into the house, so I would like to get better in that regard too! I want to say thank you to all of you for your support, and Thank you to the whole30 to opening my eyes to a healthier and overall “better” lifestyle!! I did document my whole30 journey.     UPDATE ON THE SWEET POTATO BUNS! slice the seeet potatoes to about 1/2”. coat pan with olive oil. Brush all sides of sweet potato slices with olive oil. Bake on 425 for about 15-20 mins or until tender to a fork. Let cool a little and use as bun. So yummy.!

    All right, is there anyone else who has been feeling exhausted or irritable the last few days? I have , which is weird cause the book says most people feel great! I have been trying to find the balance of meal size, but I’m so active I need to eat every few hours or I get hungry, cranky, get a headache or super super low on energy. Still on the plan, just wondering what’s going on. Also I’ve been documenting every day on YouTube. My posts are really behind the day we’re actually on but if you wanna check it out...

    @redbuns105 yea. Especially when I use veggies like asparagus,Brussel sprouts or potatoes. If I use broccoli or a faster cooking veggie I’ll put it in late or take it out early.

    Tonight I tried to make the sweet potato buns for my burgers... they didn’t turn out as I would of hopped. I think I need thinner slices!

    Sorry I have been MIA. I have been working a ton. Making egg cups in a silicone cup cake tray has been a life saver! Each cupcake takes 1 egg plus whatever veggie I have have in the house. Aka tomato, squash, bell pepper, bacon or turkey meat. I cook it in the oven at 350 for 20-30 minutes.. also so I am loving single tray bakes! That’s when everything I’m eating goes on 1 tray in the oven... i line the tray with foil. Then brush on olive oil. Put my meat in the middle and veggies around the outsides. Brush olive oil on top and season with spices or vinegar, and cook at 425 for 20-35 minutes, or until it looks done. I do often put the chopped or spiralized potatoes on another tray the same way and toss it in at the same time!

    Im in the road again and brought the chicken hash with me. I know the chicken hash is under breakfast foods but it reheats and tastes good for lunch and dinner too. I would put 1/2 the amount of apple cider vinegar! And after plating I added cauliflower rice to make it more filling. :-) happy Day 10

    Congratulations everyone. We made it past week one! Tomorrow we might all feel a bit bloated and I think to counter that I am going to try and take a Bikram Yoga or a hot yoga class. For those of you who have done whole 40 before, is there anything that helps get you though that stage? Other than nap?

    Crossfit & Pre/Post Workout Meals

    I can not eat a full anything before an intense workout or i feel like throwing up. I have tried Banana and almond butter as a pre-workout. Though I have been known to drink my coffee pre workout, and have something like hard boiled eggs and coffee again post workout.

    Hey, glad to have you join us! I was reading the book For about 2 weeks before my official start date on the 16th which started making me aware of what I was buying/ eating/ getting rid of in my House. But the week before I started watching YouTube videos and ended up making a lot of the whole 30 dinners just cause they looked good and we’re easy to make. Like you I’m on day #4 and I didn’t really have a kill all the things day. I think I skipped right to nap phase. However, I am also a flight attendant and have been working really weird hours so that could have a lot to do with it. I did leave on this 3 day trip completely prepared for all my meals. I even had a plan for my boyfriend to put the brisket in the crockpot this morning. ALLLLLLL DAY I have been dreaming about how yummy my house probably smells. Well unfortunatly, I got stuck in San Fransisco with out a pre-preped meal and just an apple, orange and RX BARS in Munce lunch bag. No time like the present to dine out whole 30 style.... I ended up getting my hotel to make salmon and steamed veggies using only olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon. (Honestly, it was nice to have someone else make my dinner) Other than that I feel like I’m doing pretty well, and I hope you all are too! I am VLOGing my experience and will start posting those videos soon, but I’m also posting short videos and all my meals in My instagram story.     Last night was a tricky one for me. Not only did I have to make dinner for my boyfriend and myself but I had to make and pack up 3 days worth of food for us. I am a flight attendant and I left early this morning for a 3 day trip! Didn’t think I was going to get it all to fit, but I’m on the road and the food is stuffed between 2 lunch bags!
