    Hey @Marj K! Sorry I never got around to starting a new thread. My reintro was going pretty well at first, but then I guess I got a little lazy this last week. Whoops. I messed up the reintro of gluten. I've been thinking I should maybe clean up my food a bit for a week or so and try reintroducing gluten again. I'm glad to hear things are going well for you! Are you avoiding nightshades?

    I had meant to introduce dairy yesterday (I really wanted to have some coffee with cream and some frozen yogurt...lol), but that didn't really happen (all I had was some cream). So I'm doing it today.

    Well that's frustrating, @Marj K. Nightshades are potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant...anything else? That sounds challenging. No tiger blood energy wise. My energy level is still lower than it used to be. It tanked about 6 months ago - I really think it's related to the perimenopause. I'll be making an appointment with my doctor soon too. It will be time for my annual woman visit in a few weeks anyway. That's not to say that I haven't seen positives. One of my biggest desires for this experiment was to help with all the sugar cravings and it's definitely helped me there.

    Day 28 and can't wait to be done. LOL! Where is this tiger blood people speak of? I still have yet to see it. Oh well. I have my plan made out for the next 2 weeks - I didn't work this hard to mess up the reintroduction. @Marj K - congrats on getting to day 30!

    Day 26. Trying to power through these last few days. I've started to make my reintroduction plan. I think it will take me 2 weeks to get through. I'm very eager for this to be over. Lol. Mark - yeah, I can't imagine the stress of adding the FODMAP stuff on to this. You can always experiment more with that later on.

    I've had no change at all in hot flashes, night sweats, or any of my other perimenopausal symptoms.

    Oh yeah, it's SUCH a joy! Haha. Still exhausted and still struggle to get to sleep and wake up. Also still have the brain fog. I think I'm realizing just how much of this is most likely related to hormones. I'll be setting up an appointment with my doctor soon to discuss what I can do. Sigh. I'm too young for all this (I'll be 43 in a few months)! LOL. But I'm glad you two are feeling good! It's weird, but I haven't had food dreams. I've had vivid food dreams other times I've given up sweets though.

    I cut out the sweet potato from breakfast and lunch yesterday and wasn't quite as tired. Still don't have a great level of energy or focus. I've started wondering if being peri-menopausal has something to do with the "magic" not kicking in. Oh yeah, female hormones!
