Happy Day!!! Day 30!!! Congratulations to everyone who completed the program!!! It's been fun riding out the last 30 days with you. I'm curious to see how the measurements will work out this evening. Hats off to those of you continuing for another 30. I don't think i'd have to many issues continuing along the same journey. My wife on the other hand is looking forward to a little creamer in her coffee. Other than that, I think she would be fine as well. It's been fun, interesting, nerve racking, a little stressful, and a great learning experience of all the hidden ingredients in what is called "food". I hoping to take what I've learned to the next level and continue to eat healthy. This was a great first step! I'm glad i did it!!

Hi Dianne... It's been a fun journey. A bit surprised how good I feel right now and I can see myself continuing is some fashion. We have kicked around the idea of the Mediterranean Diet as one possible avenue moving forward. The supplements that I took prior (BCAA and Protein Powder) will most likely be first on my list to reintroduce. Mostly to finish out the containers I have on hand that I purchased prior to starting W30. Depending upon how I feel towards the end of next month will determine if I purchase them again. Alcohol would probable be next. We have a drink or two in moderation and that will most likely continue. Instead of every weekend, a goal would be maybe a weekend or two out of the month. I would like to try and keep up with the elimination sugars and processed foods. They were reduced in our diet prior but the body feels good taking it a step further. Some of those hidden sugars will probable sneak in there only because they're in everything. I want to be more conscious of it. We have a bunch of trips planned over the upcoming months that will make it difficult to do a full 30, but I can see myself giving it another run in the fall. Good luck with your Journey!!!

This is sort of where my wife is, still struggling a bit. I think if she was able to put cream in her coffee she would be a lot happier. She to is hanging on by a thread, mostly in part because i'm doing it with her. She's waiting for me to give the word, but I won't do it. I keep telling her we're almost there. We don't plan on changing our diet much from what we learned on Whole30, it's been a great leaning experience for both of us. Hang in there, we almost made it!!

Day 26 ... Tiger Blood dipped a bit, but still going strong. I Increased my steps on the fitbit, 4,000 and my morning runs have improved. The diet has been in autopilot and still maintaining all the correct foods. Some cravings, but they seem to get easier to dismiss. I can relate with you @suzannes about "Kill all the things", I've been good but could easily lose my temper, been catching myself before the words actually come out of my mouth. . I did break out the scale, was curious. I try not to let the numbers drive/ bother me. I feel good, my clothes are looser, belt moved a notch, maybe another one soon, look thinner, but the scale didn't move as I thought it would. That's alright, I feel really good. My goal was to restart my metabolism and I think I've done that. Only a few my days to go!!! Stay strong everybody!! We've come so far, only a little bit to go!!!

Hi @Hope4Overcomers, glad your feeling great!! Amazing the difference a week makes. Feeling pretty great myself, especially over the past couple days. Energy is back and I find myself not craving anything. I had it slightly on the easy side compared to my wife, she’s looking forward to some cream in her coffee. I think I bought my last nut pod this afternoon. (I drink coffee black) Our Plan moving forward is to do a variation of the W30 plan with keeping sugar to a minimum. We have a bunch of trips planned over the next couple months where it will be tough to be 100% compliant. Depending how the summer goes a recharge may be required in September. We’ve come a long way! Almost there!

Hi @suzannes great list, my top three benefits are very similar. - Better understanding of the hidden sugars and how to look for them in food. - Leaning how to plan and prepare delicious new recipes, we to have been having Sunday prep marathons, which makes for better choices throughout the week. - Now that I'm over the lack of sugar drain, I feel more energized. I feel like I've accomplished a lot more over these past two weekends. Day 22, almost there. Feeling good to make it to the finish line.

Same here... the safe/easy plan would be to head into next week carrying over most of the meals we've been cooking. I was also thinking it's time to mix it up. We do a lot of diced chicken, one meal i think i'm planning is adding chicken to the stir-fried cauliflower rice that @suzannes posted previously. I plan on doing a little searching this weekend.

Our plan (halfway through) is to try to incorporate what we've learned into our daily routines, but bringing back some of the restricted foods in moderation. I had success so far staying away from sweets and would like to continue staying away from baked goods. A goal would be to continue to limit all the "hidden" sugars we discovered by reading the labels and continuing to try some of the new recipes we discovered. A drink (or two) was enjoyed on the weekend prior to starting and i can see that happening relaxing on the deck in the summer. But I can also see skipping a weekend here or there. The Mediterranean Diet, or maybe a variation/combination of, is something that we were looking as one possible path moving forward. I can see myself doing Whole30 again, maybe after the summer. (But who knows how things may change after 2 more weeks.)

No reason to be bummed @Kiralyn D, I'm sure it will come in time. Plus as you mentioned so many other benefits. My wife feels about the same as you, I think it's time to revisit the meal template. I've been going back and forth on getting my veggies in the morning. Some days I slice up a different assortment of zucchini, tomatoes, onions, spinach, peppers, mushrooms. (Depends on the mood, or whats in the frig.) A little bit of olive oil in the pan, veggies then fold in the eggs. Last couple days a little oil, cauliflower rice, cook until golden, then fold in the eggs. I'll probable put a little spinach in with the cauliflower tomorrow. We do have a bag of cauliflower / broccoli rice that i tried one morning, wasn't bad, something strange about eating broccoli in the morning.

@Let's Dooooo It! that's GREAT to hear!! Day 17 for me. I'm feeling about the same as you! Clothes are a little loose and I'm able to push myself while exercising instead of just trying to make it to the end. It's nice to be on the other side.

Couple meals from Sunday. Cocoa Chilli, recipe from Mel Joulwan. My daughter and I loved it, my wife isn’t a fan of Chilli. http://meljoulwan.com/2009/02/22/my-favorite-chili-recipe/ The pepper recipe from the book, with some modifications. Becoming a big fan of the rice cauliflower, seems to become a staple in the morning, sautéd with some oil, with two eggs scrambled in.
