    Starbucks ice tea

Thanks I'll try the unsweetened no syrup added iced tea tomorrow! Today was a rough first day hopefully that helps me tomorrow! Not even 830 and I'm ready for bed haha I forgot how rough the first few weeks can be

    Starbucks ice tea

Starting my second whole 30 today with the hopes of losing a few lbs before my sisters and wedding and hopefully finally being able to kick my coffee addiction! I don't necessarily want to cut out coffee all together but I would at least like to cut back. So here's my question...are there any non coffee drinks at Starbucks that are whole30 compliant? I was thinking of at least cutting back on my caffein by drinking ice tea or something but I wasn't sure if Starbucks had any hidden ingredients I wouldn't think are in they're unsweetened I've teas

Woohoo more than half way there!!!! Feeling great and I definitely can see a difference in how I look! I still feel very sluggish by time I get home though. I cut out my second cup of coffee at the beginning of this with the intention of eventually cutting out both but After two weeks I'm still not feeling any better and I'm honestly thinking about going back to two cups a day....

This evening was very difficult! I have a lot of personal & financial stress going on at the moment and my first instinct was still to eat some junk food toake myself feel better. I stopped at target to get a few things and ended up in the candy aisle I honestly was looking at it to feel better since I knew I couldn't eat it! I was really proud of myself that in the end I didn't get anything but it also made me realize how much I need to be doing whole 30! Having a that kind of reaction to stress is not good! I honestly started whole30 mostly for weight loss but tonight I realized I need it for much more than that.

Day 5 was definitely my hardest yet! Ate the same amount of food i'd been eating all week but still felt hungry after each meal and wanted to snack in between. I allowed myself an extra piece of fruit and some nuts which helped but I still wanted to snack more! Had some sparking water which helped a bit too. Today seems to be going much better so far! Had enough energy to finally get back to the gym this morning! Then went food shopping and was able to find compliant sausage and prosciutto! I can only eat so much chicken and beef before I start getting bored so I'm super excited to switch up some of my protein in week two! Finally starting to get used to drinking coffee unsweetened but could probably use a better quality coffee...any suggestion for GOOD flavorful coffee that isn't too expensive?

Ok at a work dinner right now there's bread oil on the table right in front of me! Omg this is way harder than it should be. I looked at the menu earlier so I'm prepared to order something whole30 compliant but I forgot about the amazing rolls here. Ugh so difficult!

Yeah I lost some weight doing a paleo diet but after a few months it started getting harder to stay on track so I mostly started whole30 to sorta kick that back into gear( plus I know I don't have a good emotional connection with food and I need to fix that) since I already lost some weight though people are acting like I'm crazy for doing "another diet" they don't get it at all, Which is mostly fine I don't expect everyone to get it but it is difficult defending it. Especially cause I know there is NOTHING wrong with cutting out processes food! How on earth could that be a bad thing!!??

i too am having a hard time with sugar and snacking. i just had a very nice lunch....chicken green beans brussel sprouts and zucchini and finished with an orange. i know im not hungry after all that (not to mention my sizeable breakfast this mornign) but as soon i finish i want something even sweeter than my orange. im determined bnot to give in the towel but i worry that its only going to get harder to resist...

hey everyone hope your all doign well on day 3! anyone else find that people are a bit judgemental when you tell them your doing whole 30??? it came up in conversation yesterday (when I, the biggest chocolate addict ever turned down a a cupcake at work !) rather than being supportive i was surprised at how my coworkers reacted with concern like they think im doign somethign so radical! dont get wrong its nice to know that they care and i know their hearts were in the right place but its not easy having to defend what your doing especially when i really do believe its somethign that is good for not only my body but my emotional connection with food as well. Im still getting used to not sweetening my coffee so i guess i kind of winced when i took the first sip and then everyone kept offering me truvia and sweet n low and when i declined they kept asking if i was sure....NOT helpful! it was just very frustrating that i was gettign flack for not eating processed food! has anyone else experienced this ????
