    March 27 start, Time to SHINE!!

    Hi, I am inspired to start on Monday. I did a Whole30 last summer and I remember feeling "free" on my runs. Now, running is really hard-- asthma, heavy legs, just a dragging feeling. I hurt my back so I won't be running one of my annual half marathons on Sunday, but I will walk it and have a celebration lunch with my friends. Then I will do this Whole 30 and see if I can't get my fastest half marathon time for my August race.

    Starting March 14

    March 14 is my Day 1. I have had too many attempts to complete 30 days, but I have been feeling awful lately and realize how much better I feel while eating whole30. One of these days, I will complete 30 consecutive days with proper reintroduction.

    Starting March 1st!

    I'm impressed as well. Last night, I was thinking "What else do I want to have one last time?" I know that this isn't the way that I want to think. I am finally realizing how much worse I feel when I eat non-compliant foods. Now, I want to find out which specific foods are doing the harm and change my mindset to stick to an overall healthier lifestyle.

    Starting March 1st

    I started today, too. The hardest part was all of the time in the kitchen prepping yesterday-- and there doesn't seem to be much food.

    Starting February 15, 2016

    I would love to join you guys. I was kind of wishy washy on starting today because I didn't have any groceries or meal prep completed, but feeling so bad that I said I would start today anyway. Had some morning coffee that was just terrible plain. I should have just thrown it out and went with water, but I added creamer. I wish I had read here first because I think that would have motivated me to just go with the water. Oh well. I see there are a couple that will be starting tomorrow. I will have an official start date of Feb 16. I will use today for meal planning, shopping and prepping. I am excited.

    Join A 2016 Whole9 Challenge!

    I let one little thing "allow" me to throw out all of the whole30 rules for the entirety of yesterday. Definitely the type of balance I need to work on. I am going to focus this month on balance, not eating until my servings are gone (just until I am satisfied), and making exercise a routine. Thank you everyone for your support last month. I don't post very much, but I read and am inspired by every post!

    Join A 2016 Whole9 Challenge!

    I am just realizing that I am just going through the motions. I am eating compliant food and most of the time, it is just the 3 meals a day. However, the problems that have come to my attention are I am not drinking enough water, I am not eating mindfully, and I am eating too much extra at evening meals. Today, starts Day 1 of working on overcoming each of these issues.

    I'm in. I really want to get some good habits established so that 2016 can be my best year yet! I asked to join in the facebook page. I could use any encouragement I can get. I already turned down donuts at work.
