Nicole1775
If I am cooking my protein and vegetables in oil or coconut oil, is that considered enough of a fat portion? I sometimes eat olives or a spoonful of almond butter too with a meal. Thanks
Kirsteen
Basically it depends how much fat or oil you're cooking them in and how much is actually absorbed by the food instead of remaining in the pan or on the plate. If I've used a fair amout, at least one to two thumbfuls per portion and I'm sure it's been all absorbed, then I'm fine with that. If I'm not sure or I've used less, I'll certainly add some extra fat to the meal. Personally I prefer to err on the generous side so the olives and almond butter seem fine to me.
