I'm waiting for my book to come so I'm looking for some clarification. I run about 5 miles/day 6 days/week. When I come home I'm used to some carbs. This morning I had 2 hard boiled eggs before I ran (I usually eat nothing) and then had a big bowl of peaches with coconut and walnuts when I got home. Is the fruit ok or should I really be trying for some spinach or something?

From ISWF: "A good post-workout meal might be: chicken breast and sweet potato, salmon and butternut squash, or egg whites mixed into mashed pumpkin."

Personally I mash up a yam or squash, mix it with some spices and ghee, and bring it to the gym in an insulted thermos along with a hard boiled egg.
