janeyb Posted June 26, 2013 Share Posted June 26, 2013 Hi, I'm on day 26 of my whole 30 and it had been going well. Originally I thought to cut out nightshades as well, however then i thought that might be biting off more than I could chew. However after eating eggplant the other night I'm more convinced than ever I am sensitive to the nightshades. Will this have hampered the rest of my whole 30 efforts, and mean my gut has not had the chance to heal? Should I do the whole 30 again minus nightshades? Will the have an effect on the reintroduction of other foods and assessing the reaction? Appreciate anyone's advice! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Stick with the program for the remainder of the time and do re-introductions as planned.If you were doing fine before the eggplant, then I would think your body just needs to recover from eating that and that you should be fine to re-intro other foods.
