Intolerant to nightshades should I start over?

Hi,

I'm on day 26 of my whole 30 and it had been going well. Originally I thought to cut out nightshades as well, however then i thought that might be biting off more than I could chew. However after eating eggplant the other night I'm more convinced than ever I am sensitive to the nightshades. Will this have hampered the rest of my whole 30 efforts, and mean my gut has not had the chance to heal? Should I do the whole 30 again minus nightshades? Will the have an effect on the reintroduction of other foods and assessing the reaction?

Appreciate anyone's advice!

I don't think you need to start over.  Stick with the program for the remainder of the time and do re-introductions as planned.If you were doing fine before the eggplant, then I would think your body just needs to recover from eating that and that you should be fine to re-intro other foods.  If you are worried about it, maybe make it a Whole35 to give your body some more time to recover.
