Jpreslar Posted September 11, 2013 Share Posted September 11, 2013 I am a recovering diet soda/carb junkie (crackers mainly). I have been doing CrossFit for about 7 months and I run 4-5 mies 3x week. I am on Day 16 and I am totally exhausted. I felt much better on Days 10-13 but had not really started working out again. Now I am working out 5-6 times a week (early morning-5:15am) and by 3:00 I am ready to go to bed. I need some advice and some encouragement/reassurance that I will get over this exhaustion. I felt my body changing in the beginning for the better and now i already feel "stuck in a rut". Help! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You may need to eat more in general and more starchy carbs in particular. Sweet potatoes, butternut squash, parsnips, pumpkin. Starchy carbs are energy foods.
