for accountability reasons.  Last night, I was stressed, tired, mad at my husband, and emotional.  I crawled into bed with a banana and some cashew butter and went to town.  Compliant? Yes.  Healthy psychological response towards food?  No.

 

And surprise surprise- I felt uncomfortable and guilty afterwards.

 

PHEW.  My dirty little secret is out there now. ;) Move on!

It was A BANANA (singular) and cashew butter...while not the best choice it was certainly not the worst and these habits don't change overnight. I think you should be proud of your resolve and ability to stay compliant despite your emotions and learn from this so that you can avoid emotional eating in the future. Many people would've dove head first into a pint of ben and jerry's.
