kurtz100 Posted February 9, 2014 Share Posted February 9, 2014 I picked up a bad cold (very sore throat, very conjested, etc) from my toddler and I've noticed my cravings come back with a vengence. I always crave really awful food when I'm sick. I'm on day 11 of my first whole30. I ended up eating beef jerkey yesterday because I was in a bind and I'm worried I've messed up my progress. It had 5 grams of sugar per serving and I couldn't find jerky without sugar Thoughts? Advice? If you make a mistake do you need to start over at day 1? AmyS Posted February 9, 2014 Share Posted February 9, 2014 I think with sugar the official word is to not reintroduce sugar until 30 days from when you ate it. Since you crave sugar, salt, and carbs, consider eating things like sweet potatoes and drinking bone broth (this is the Paleo name for stock - either chicken or beef, usually).
