Beef Liver

Hi! I've been doing the Whole30 with my sister for the past 15 days. We both feel so much better and i'm finally dropping back towards my race weight! (I found myself in a bad cycle I wasn't able to break and my nutritionist suggested the Whole30. I LOVE it!)


I'm an experienced cook and baker (I was proud of myself for making an entire cake last night without licking the beaters once!).


I've been wanting to try out hearts and livers in cooking for a while. The store was out of chicken hearts and livers when I went this week, but I picked up some beef liver.


Any recommendations or tips on cooking them? I'm excited and nervous. I'd also like to try some marrow bones but I haven't gotten the nerve up to ask the butcher about them yet.
