  1. Check out Nom Nom Paleo and Well Fed for some great recipes. Well Fed also has tips for a weekly cookup so you can get most of the food prepared on one day and then quickly put together plates during the week. Good Luck!
  2. The meal plan download is for The Whole30: The 30‑Day Guide to Total Health and Food Freedom. Enjoy!

    Time to ditch my rheumy?

Did you find a doctor in San Diego? Mine is in Del Mar The Natural Path, Dr Jeff Mersky.
  4. I created my own and posted it at the top of this forum. You may need to try a different browser to download it. I will also post it on Facebook so you can download it from there. Enjoy!
  5. I tried Chrome and IE and I can't download from either. Hopefully I am the only one with this frustration. Luckily I don't need it because I have the original. LOL
  6. This website won't allow you to download the shopping list anymore. Not sure why. If you can tag me on FB or leave a message here I am happy to send you my shopping list. It isn't perfect but it's a good start.
  7. I did not include the mayo or sauces however since there are options to use Eggs or Canned Tuna in your Protein salad you should have and extra egg to use to make the mayo. Worst case you will have to go to the store on day 7. Good Luck!
  8. Thanks. I did look at the recipes in the whole30 book, wrote down the ingredients for each and then added them up. Feel free to do you own and upload it. I am sure people would love to have a choice because I know mine is not perfect.
  9. If you are looking for a 7 day meal planning shopping list I have created one in this post above. It is not official. Enjoy!
  10. Although there isn't an official 7 day meal shopping list, I created my own for you to use with the new Whole30 book if you want. This is for one person. I was unable to find recipes for slow cooker beef brisket and plantains in the new Whole30 book. So I used the Braised Beef Brisket recipe instead. You will have to find a pan fried plantain recipe and add those ingredients to the list. I hope this helps. Enjoy!Shopping List for 7 day meal plan.pdf If you're having trouble downloading the shopping list, try this link instead.
  11. Here are some books that might help. I don't have all of them yet but I have heard interviews by these doctors. http://www.amazon.com/Autoimmune-Solution-Spectrum-Inflammatory-Symptoms-ebook/dp/B00K53D3NI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420820201&sr=8-1&keywords=the+autoimmune+solution. http://thyroidbook.com. http://adrenalresetdiet.com. Good Luck!
  12. I am not an expert. I know that coconut is not as likely to be an allergen but it could be. Almond, avocado and eggs are all big allergens. I would avoid all of them for the rest of your whole30 and see what happens. Yes when you eat eggs everyday they can start causing problem. Check out the thread on this forum "breakfast without eggs" for some ideas. Also check out some AIP recipes because they also won't have nuts. Good Luck!

My experience with hair loss and how I fixed it.

It could also be a lack of iodine. This can be caused by leaky gut and hypothyroid. By the way, the majority of people with hypothyroid actually have Hashimoto. Most doctors don't do anything about hypothyroidism until it's too late. I am talking iodine and will hopefully improve my sleep and my hair loss. The paleo diet should help improve your symptoms especially with added iodine. Some of us need the autoimmune protocol.

    Help! Akward topic...diarrhea

When your body detoxes it dumps the junk from your cells into your intestines. Some people get constipated some get diarrhea. Better out than in. Stay hydrated and it should get better soon.
  15. . . . When you are doing a google search and you type 30 after the search word!
