Suzy
I know this is not really a medical condition, heh, but I ate broccoli today at lunch and feel gaseous. So much so, that I feel like skipping dinner, but I know I need to eat. Should I? What should I eat? Also, maybe it wasn't the broccoli. I had some coconut manna on a banana today for a snack. Perhaps it was this?
Dutchie
Don't know if it might help but Broccoli,as is coconut products except CO,are on the FODMAPS list which can cause amongst other symptoms gas/bloating despite the fiber. http://chriskresser.com/fodmaps-could-common-foods-be-harming-your-digestive-health
Suzy
Thanks for that link, Dutchie; most helpful. I think I do have a touch of the old IBS and I will lookout for these foods in the future. I also love the principle of food combining. If I eat my fruit all by itself, my GI tract thanks me.
