I've been coasting through this second whole 30 effortlessly and today on day 20 I am suddenly ravenous, unsatisfied and kill all the things. I did the math and realized it's also day 23 of my cycle and I'm generally starving the week before my period. Anything compliant I can eat that will satisfy this insatiable hunger? It doesn't help that I'm also breastfeeding and have been exercising a lot more than usual the past few weeks.

I craved beef like crazy during my second pregnancy. I would lay awake at night wanting steak so badly I couldn't sleep. During my first pregnancy I craved strawberries, I had to go buy a pound of them every night and eat them. PMS week I want starch. Last night I grated and fried a sweet potato into hash with dinner and it was fabulous. I'm going to do it again today.
