Chachers04
Hi, I'm just curious about why raw veggies are hard on the stomach? I'm not arguing with this, but it has never been explained clearly to me. I usually try to lightly cook my veggies to retain some of the enzymes, but I have ibs so I don't do alot of raw veg. Moderators ShannonM816 Posted June 21, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 21, 2015 From what I understand, the fiber in raw vegetables can be hard for your digestive system to break down, and cooking the vegetables starts that process of breaking down the fiber so that there's less work for your digestive system to do.
