Chile peppers

Hi, 

I did do a search before posting this and didn't find much of an answer.  In looking at all the shopping lists I see bell peppers listed, green peppers, but no chile peppers.  Where do they fit in?  And I assume bell peppers would include the mild varieties of red, orange, yellow?

 

I recently purchased some fresh roasted green chile peppers and just wonder if they count as veggies.  I also use jalapenos and habaneros fairly often.

Hi Kim,

 

It is not possible for our lists to include every possible bit of produce.  If it's a fruit or vegetable and is not corn, green peas or beans, you are free to eat it.
